Bio: Shannon Currie (Tia)
Shannon is a graduate of the B.F.A. Acting Program at the University of Windsor. After quickly throwing off her cap and gown, she moved to the big city of Toronto to become another working actor with the dream of making her parents proud and her high school nemeses jealous. Shannon has performed on stage primarily for The Rose, the Tarragon, and Buddies in Bad Times theatre. She is also a member of the Chaos Factory theatre collective, and is currently performing/writing for 18 Hand Theatre Collective’s “Vacancy”. When Shannon grows up, she will gaze across the courtyard of her French Villa, where the local children gather, singing the folk songs of yore and straining their tiny frames to catch a glimpse of her, and she will know that the turbulence of her twenties was worth it.
