Bio: Denise Mader (Caroline)
The eldest of five children and the only girl, Denise had a privileged childhood thanks to her incredible parents, growing up on their farm in southwestern Ontario. Denise directed, performed, designed, and produced one of her first plays on that farm in the living room theatre for an audience of her Nan and various select stuffed animals. Following that notable success Denise devoted herself to formal singing and dance training and eventually went on to earn her B.F.A in Music Theatre at the University of Windsor.
There she discovered her affinity for mask work and classical text. Farm girl Denise adjusted to city living and then moved to the bigger city of Toronto, trading in her car for a metropass and then eventually a bike. She hopes her next move will be to NYC! Some of Denise's various interests include healthy eating, running, yoga, meditation, and locally grown food. Denise frequently works as a life model for various artists and art schools. She has a lifelong commitment to the craft of acting and looks forward to many amazing projects on stage and film, with many inspiring people. Recently she has discovered the joy of performing work by Anton Chekhov and hopes to do more of it soon.
Denise is so pleased to be a part of 'Falling For Caroline'. Many thanks to all involved. Hope you enjoy the film!
