Bio: Colleen Costello (Singer / Songwriter)
A charmingly unique writer and performer, Colleen's rootsy mix of electronic and acoustic music is as fresh as a carrot out of the ground: hose-washed, sweet and gritty. Imagine Nine Inch Nails meets the Cranberries and they move to the country to record in a solar-powered studio.
Currently, Colleen is touring with Ellen Carol in the duo Taffy, pushing the boundaries of how much sound can come from just two people riding on sugar and scotch. She also plays in the up-and-coming band Antler, mixing old thyme country with experimental noise and beautiful harmonies.
To smooth out the rough edges, she explores writing children-themed songs for touring company Castlemoon Theatre and is now working on perfecting soundtrack styles for short film.
